IxDA is the Interaction Design  Foundation based in Oregon. They held a Latin American festival each year, for this project I created the sound identity of the ILA 21 edition, held in San José, Costa Rica. The festival spans for several days and hosts speakers with global relevance in the field. 

I created the sound brand as well as some longer tracks to play during specific moments of a live event. This way sound design was incorporated in the digital and psychical space.

The approach to this assigment was very clear, from both my perspective and the client. We wanted to mix the digital aspect of the conference itself with the lush landscape that exist in Central America. We decided to include field recordings from outdoor space and other elements such as synthetizers and drums to nod about technology and current interfaces users have contact with day to day. 

Each track is reflecting a specific aspect of the landscape of Costa Rica. I create these two animations as visualizers for the presentation to the internal team.
